Lofty Oasis depicts highland tribesmen in Papua, Indonesia [western half of the island of New Guinea], finding refreshment during an arduous trek over a mountain wall. Every man carries a spear at least—or a bow and arrows—if only to bag wild game spotted en route. When such tribesmen come to faith in Jesus, they discover Him to be the True Oasis of spiritual and personal refreshment in the arduous ‘trek’ through this world to one’s heavenly home.
